One Song For You: What is Love, Anyway?
Yesterday I went through to Edinburgh to see Richard Herring’s latest show, What is Love, Anyway? and to catch up with a few friends.
This morning, I woke up with a heart shaped balloon hovering over my bed:
Given that the stated aim of Herring’s new set is to destroy love before…
That’s not “dubious” taste in comedy, I’m actually kinda jealous you saw him.
Stewart Lee actually did a gig at the Chapter in Cardiff while I was living in Cardiff and I never even fucking knew about it, then I missed him by like two days or something last time I was over there. Not even knowing Stewart Lee is performing within fifteen minutes on foot of your flat constitutes a dubious attitude to comedy, no doubt about it.
Ha, yeah, I’ve got “good” taste in comedy but terrible organisational skills - that’s two years in a row I’ve missed Stewart Wee at the Fringe! Apparently being on the telly helps to sell tickets - who knew?
You should definitely see What is Love, Anyway? if you can though. It’s right up there with the best of Lee & Herring.
