Big K.R.I.T - ‘Dreamin’
It took me a while to get into Big K.R.I.T.’s Return of 4eva, possibly because ‘Country Shit’ had set me up for something that would be best enjoyed booming out over the speakers while most of the other tracks sounded best on my headphones.
I dunno, I guess that when I was really able to focus on the album I was also able to get past the essential (and slightly off-putting, somehow?) niceness of a song like ‘Dreamin’ in order to fully appreciate the grainy detail of K.R.I.T.’s pimp-gospel approach.
